I think the way Noel is going forward with xAIML
compliments the AIML standard and committe. If new
AIML tags are approved they'll go into the xAIML_0.

Now if I decide I cannot support the new AIML tag I
would use my xAIML_Frank where my xAIML says "no" it
does not support the feature.

In all honesty I think that xAIML_0 should be frozen
at the current standard and if any new tags are added
they'd be an increment of xAIML, say xAIML_1 so the
current interpreters while upgrading to the new tag
would have to swap out to xAIML_1.

It'd make it easier to spot interpreters which haven't
upgraded yet they'd have no changes and be at xAIML_0.

The committe should always be around to draft new
revisions of the standard AIML set but experimental
add-ons can always be break-away parts of
xAIML_whatever and if they gain popularity they'd
eventually probably be moved by the committe to the
standard set.

I've seen a similiar process with C++ and Boost which
works very well. Boost is a set of add on libraries
in which well liked parts of it eventually get added
to the core C++ standard.
