The AIF can hardly be compared to the W3C where the commercial implication
of a change in one or more of it's standards is much larger. It's an
organisation that, or all intents and purposes, maintains the information
structure of the internet. To this AIML clearly doesn't hold a candle.

Besides, no one ever said that the amount was a problem. Just that the
manner in which it's acquired and it currently appears to be spend has
raised some eyebrows. This is what's currently being discussed.
