OK, no problem.

I think that the AIF has two assets she should protect.

1. The community.
Personified in the bot the general and developer mailing list, but more
in particular the general.

2. The AIML standard.
Maintained but more importantly protected by the Arch Comm. As I've
mentioned before I think the Arch Comm should be a non-payment position.
I know that you see like to see the Arch Comm members contribute
financially, kind of like a sign of commitment. However, I hope you
never do since it will mean I need to decline the invitation - and I
don't think I'll be the only one.

Most of my AIML is programmed according to the 1.0.1 standard. The
reason why I do this is because it will ensure that most people are able
to run it on their AIML interpreters. Personally I value this
enormously. So I think the Arch Comm should certainly continue (in the
near future) her work again.

Now the tricky thing is that previously the AIF had it's own interpreter
that adhered to it's own standard. Since it was the most advanced AIML
interpreter it was also setting the tone for all the others. This is no
longer the case and also means that a different adoption strategy should
be taken up.

How, what, where and when is something I leave up to the chairman of the
Arch Comm - whoever that may be at present. My advice would be to set an
agenda, with topics that are still open and treat it like an overdue
meeting. Open it official and ask everyone to respond. Most likely I'm
still a member with anne.kootstra@chello.nl which should be changed to
anne@aiml.info.

I'm assuming that this is somewhat useful.
