O.K. now my defenses are really down and it's funny story time.  John
Foderaro was there.  His boss Fritz took me and this other botmaster Erik
Levy to lunch in Berkeley and asked us how we met.  I said, "At the Pot
Club."  Fritz said, "The Bot Club?"  I said, "No, the Pot Club."  Fritz
goes, "I didn't know you guys had a Bot Club in San Francisco."  I said,
"No, man, the medical marijuana club."  Ohhh......

Second funny story...

We live right up the street from 710 Ashbury, home of the Grateful Dead.
Not zoned for retail, only residential use, the building is an unremarkable
Victorian just like all the others on our street.   But you will often see a
car parked there, with say Oklahoma or New Jersey license plates, full of
blankets and pillows and discarded junk food containers, its sleepy
passengers sprawled on the sidewalk in front of "Jerry's Place", having
finally reached the destination of their journey after many hours or days of
driving.   A few minutes later they will get back in the car and drive home.
710 Ashbury is their only stop in San Francisco.  I sometimes wonder if
maybe the same thing will happen at 807 Ashbury one day because of ALICE :-)
