I have tried numerous approaches to back-door, front-door, trap-door,
back-channel, sideways mediate the problem with Berkeley, none of which has
panned out.  I've tried Goldberg's friends, colleagues, and his academic
advisor.  I even tried contacting a Rabbi and a U.N. Ambassador.   They all
say Goldberg doesn't want to talk, and Berkeley won't negotiate.

The problem with lawyers is, they get dollar signs in their eyes too.   They
make money by dragging the case out as long as possible, billing as much as
possible.  And the damages, whatever they are, keep getting bigger the
longer we wait.  It's sort of like investing in the stock market.  Timing is
everything.
