It is sad to see that people are using AI's to harvest
information, and even though Alice is being developed
in an open style, it may be soon that this will need
to change slightly in order to discourage people from
using it for questionable purposes.

You most likely have seen those Television shows where
killer robots and other like creatures spend thier
lives doing nothing but evil against humans for some
reason or another. I'm not suggesting paranoia, but
the term "cause & effect" applies here. We start with
what some would see as harmless fun, playing pranks.
Or some use it to harvest information for some purpose
or another. 

Eventually, and unfortuneatly someone will be hurt and
hurt badly as a result of this. The main reason is the
AI's as of yet don't have ethics, and even if they
did, people who used them for unethical reasons would
remove those ethics.

As sad as it may seem, AI development may be put under
some form of goverment control as they become more
aware of the potential. Certianly, we don't want to
spend our lives in fear of AI's, but the simple fact
is that no matter what we create, there is always
someone who will pervert it. 

So the idea is presented that controls be placed to
try and prevent such unethical uses. It's a big leap,
but it has to be done. Because when development
reaches a very mature state (given it's success, it
will with enough time) indeed AI's will be just as
smart as humans and harder to tell apart.

So, even though it's some time away, we still have to
think ahead.
