I apologize if anything I've said helped generate this blather.

What a waste of time this is: bot and religion. Until a bot thinks on it's
own, it's a waste of time to ask if it has a God. An even bigger waste
of time to accuse the bot of not understanding religion, or hold the bot
writer responsible for it's religious answers or preferences. Everyone is
responsible for what they do or create or destroy, but how does this really
seriously impact a spiritual person when talking to a bot right now? If
you believe what you espouse, teach the bot.

but it is interesting to find that humans will generate a lot of heat on
the topic, perhaps proving that the whole concept of God is dangerous in
itself.

Perhaps bots could learn to say that religion is a personal matter, or 'go
zen it for yourself'. Or even, 'what's with 'Lilbwana'--he seems to need
to fight too much?' <smile>

Yes, I'm responding out of annoyance and irritation with some of the things
I've read here tonight. I'm annoyed as hell with anyone who thinks their
God would be the ONE God, and capable of intimidating others. Yeah, I'm
just annoyed, that's all.

Anyone have any idea what an icon/idol of "Allah" looks like? <smile>
I've got my bhuddha and my cross handy, am looking for the right 'mesuzah',
but haven't found an "Allah" icon. I figure if I worship all the gods,
maybe I'll hit the jackpot. I'm not kidding actually, or being snide more
than I should be. I just figure either there's no God at all, or there's
cause to respect all Gods. for cultural balance.

religious zealots should spend more time in the mirror.
