Hello Everyone.  I'm new to this list, and have never before posted here -
primarily due to a lack of time.  But I do monitor what's said with some
degree of regularity.  As some of you may know (Rich, Brenda, Noel and
Nika), I am on the AIF board of trustees.

To get to the point: In light of your discussion about the law's (present
and future) treatment of bots, some of you may be interested in reading my
most recent article, written for Law.com, which briefly discusses this exact
topic (in the context of a much larger topic, i.e., the law of automated
supply chain management).  Anyone who has such an interest should send me a
quick note, and I'll forward the piece to you, ASAP.  I'm not permitted to
give out the link to the piece, since it was solely displayed on Law.com's
subscription-only Techlaw section.  But I am permitted to distribute it "for
marketing purposes"...whatever that means. ;-)
