Out of idle curiousity: In what ways do you see God as being different to 
men?

Regarding the idea of ballot initiatives, I think you are correct. It was 
the situation in the classical Greek city states, and it often resulted in 
wildly inconsistent policies - famous generals being exiled or executed, 
merely because some demagogue whipped up fear of a tyranny returning.

I think that, in many ways, a government by bots would be superior - it 
could be the ultimate meritocracy - leaders who are incorruptible, and, if 
played right, have our best interests at heart. I'm not saying it would be 
easy, to either create such a bot or persuade people to follow it, but I 
believe it is the best solution possible within the current global paradigm. 
(Hows that for a buzzwordy conclusion?:)
