Benjamin Franklin would be the perfect "Open Source" Party Platform 
candidate! He even was known for his liaisons in Paris so he would fit 
right in with present day politics.

All of this discussion has brought up an idea. We could get students and 
other people involved to run candidates and platforms and hold our own 
first Bot for President campaign. They could have new personalities of the 
future, or as Rich said rerun a candidate, but perhaps a totally new idea 
for a world leader as we do not want to leave out our Global participants. 
Perhaps Campaign for the First Bot Leader for the Planet Earth - and we 
could have different language candidates. The more I think about this idea, 
it really gives us a chance to help people get involved with a project, as 
well as making it educational and fun at the same time.
